Description:
At only 350 square feet, this small coffee shop is nevertheless full of ideas, from the plastic coffee lid wall and cardboard coffee cup holders to the custom furniture and display boxes.
Regardless of its size, there's an entryway, counter, preparation space, bathroom, and seating area. Most of the design effort is expended on the seating, entry, and storefront. The seating is bounded on the walls and ceiling by cardboard holders laid flat and set into steel frames. The entry wall is a composition of plastic lids used as a formwork for a plastic wall. While these clearly talk about coffee culture, they don't shout it to the point of kitsch. The space is tasteful and cozy, traits any coffee shop would be proud of.
